Anna Tran is a Nurse Practitioner with a decade of critical care experience — across ICU, emergency, PACU, and remote First Nations and Inuit communities — who has built one of the most varied and high-acuity clinical careers in her field. Registered across five provinces, she currently practices primary care in the Greater Toronto Area and virtually across Ontario and eastern Canada, working with patients of all ages through Telus Health Virtual Care, Medione Physicians, Cleveland Clinic Canada, and the Adult ADHD Centre.

Anna's path to NP practice was shaped by years on the front lines at Humber River Hospital, where she worked as an ER and ICU nurse managing critically ill patients, and as a travel nurse in British Columbia, before spending three years as a community health nurse in remote Northern Ontario and Nunavut — working under medical directives, managing emergencies, and facilitating medevac transfers in the absence of physicians. That experience forged a clinician who is equally at home in high-acuity settings and in the nuanced, relationship-driven work of primary care.

She holds a Master of Nursing — Nurse Practitioner from Athabasca University, built on an Honours BSc in Nursing from UOIT and a BSc in Life Sciences from McMaster. In 2025, she founded the Vaughan Nurse Practitioner Clinical Education and Excellence Group — a reflection of her commitment to advancing the profession beyond her own practice. At Own Health, Anna contributes that same energy to building complex care capacity that reaches patients who need it most.
